Affordable, Accessible Counseling

In-Network with Major Insurance Providers & Flexible Payment Options At Glad Oaks Counseling, we are committed to making faith-based counseling accessible and affordable. We are in-network with many major insurance companies, and most of our services are covered by insurance. For those utilizing out-of-network benefits, we’ve partnered with Mentaya to streamline the process, ensuring you can easily manage your claims. If you prefer private pay, we offer competitive rates designed to fit a variety of financial situations. I invite you to explore all your payment options and learn more about how we can work with you to make therapy both effective and affordable.

Understanding the cost of therapy shouldn't add to your stress. Each therapy hour consists of 50 minutes of virtual teletherapy with your therapist. Please be aware that insurance claim rates may differ from our private pay rates. For clients choosing private pay, we provide a Good Faith Estimate to help you understand the charges you may accrue during your time in therapy.

  • Intake Session: $200/hour

  • Standard Session: $175/hour

  • Report Writing: $175/hour

  • Assessment Review: $175/hour

  • Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee: $75/hour

We do our best to estimate your costs in detail, so you can focus on your healing journey without any surprises. If you have questions about out-of-pocket expenses or would like more information about your payment options, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help and ensure you feel fully informed every step of the way.

Insurance vs. Private Pay: What You Should Know

Choosing the right option for your therapy journey.

If you choose to use your insurance for therapy, your therapist will need to provide a diagnosis of a specific mental health condition to demonstrate medical necessity. Your insurance company will keep a record of this diagnosis and track your treatment process.

For clients who prefer greater flexibility and confidentiality, private pay offers an alternative. When paying privately, your therapist is not required to diagnose you with a condition, and no records of your therapy will be shared with your insurance company. This option allows for a more personalized approach to your care and may provide added peace of mind for those who value complete privacy.

If you have any questions about which option is right for you, I’m happy to discuss your preferences and help you make an informed decision.

Attendance and Cancellation Policy

Respecting your time and ensuring flexibility. We kindly ask that all clients attend their scheduled sessions on time. To reschedule or cancel an appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice, excluding weekends. For example, if you need to cancel a Monday session, please notify us by the same time on the preceding Friday.

Cancellations can be made by calling our office or contacting your therapist directly via email or phone. If you have recurring appointments, canceling one session will not affect future sessions unless you inform us that you wish to cancel all future appointments.

We understand that life happens, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain availability for all clients. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Ensuring fairness and commitment to your therapy journey.

If you fail to attend a session without providing at least 24 hours’ notice, a $75 fee will be charged to the credit card or payment method you have on file. This fee applies even if you choose to reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Please be aware that consistent cancellations may affect your ongoing therapy. Three or more cancellations within six months, or two consecutive cancellations, may result in the termination of services. In cases of frequent cancellations, your therapist reserves the right to cancel all standing appointments and limit you to scheduling same-day appointments only.

We value your commitment to the therapeutic process and appreciate your understanding of this policy, which allows us to maintain availability for all clients. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Exceptions to Cancellation Policy

Understanding and flexibility in genuine emergencies.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we will make exceptions to our cancellation policy in the case of a serious illness, contagious condition, or genuine emergency. However, please note that work-related issues, hazardous weather, and other unforeseen circumstances do not qualify as emergencies. If weather, transportation, or similar issues prevent you from traveling to our office, please contact your therapist to arrange a remote telehealth session.

For clients receiving treatment through Medical Assistance (MA), we are unable to charge for cancellations or no-shows. As a result, three or more late cancellations within six months, or two consecutive cancellations, will result in immediate discharge from therapy and a referral to alternative providers.

We appreciate your understanding and respect for our staff’s valuable time by attending your scheduled sessions. If you have any questions about this policy, feel free to reach out.
